Volunteers

Innovate Volunteering

Volunteering is at the core of everything we do at Innovate. We value this fantastic resource and utilise volunteers in all our activities, thereby providing volunteers with valuable work experience, skills and a personal progression plan. Volunteers enable us to deliver services at a lower cost without compromising on quality.

Incorporated in April 2011, Innovate Volunteering CIC was established by Elaine Chappell and Leanne Mallinson. Having managed a range of successful projects across the local authority and voluntary sector which focused on volunteering, individual progression and community cohesion they decided to take the best bits forward in an innovative way, and so Innovate Volunteering was born.

Our Values

Respect:
An ethos of understanding and respect for all!
Empowerment:
Supportive and motivating environments to empower staff, volunteers and service users!
Integrity:
Our organisation is built on a foundation of integrity without compromise!
Excellence:
Striving for excellence in everything we do!
Dependable:
We are punctual, responsible, trustworthy and committed to success!
Forward Thinking:
Developing new ways to delivery growth and prosperity!
Innovation:
Trying out new ideas is central to our work

Our partnership has been very pleased with the training provided by Innovate Volunteering. We have been very impressed by the flexibility and understanding shown to the participants on the course we commissioned. This has left us with the legacy of committed and enthusiastic volunteers who are adding value to our service delivery, benefiting their local community and improving their own employment skills. Because of the success of our first training programme with Innovate Volunteering we have very quickly secured their services for a second round of training - this is testament to our belief in the quality and effectiveness of the service they provide
